ITAP’s production process is entirely carried out in three buildings in Italy.

UNPROCESSED COMPONENTSAND AND SAND-BLASTING MACHINES
Abrasive blasting is valuable as an efficient, high quality method of surface penetration. No other method of metal cleaning allows better control of the surface preparation or cleans the surface as thoroughly. By beginning with a screened abrasive, you control and obtain a consistent profile on the targeted surface. This clean, etched surface aids in adhesion and allows the coating to lock onto the surface.
UNPROCESSED COMPONENTS
Before beginning the sandblasting process the unprocessed components undergo the quality check. Once they are confirmed in compliance with the requirements, the manufacturing can take place.
SANDBLASTING
This procedure is one of the most important steps to guarantee a good material to be manufatured on the tool machines and to prepare a good surface for other treatments such as nickelplating or chrome-plating.
SAND-BLASTED COMPONENTS
Sand-blasted components are checked once again by the quality department, to control the good result of the operation. If surface, shape, colors and weight are in compliance with the standars, the next manufacturing step can take place.

TOOL MACHINES 45.000.000 pcs/year
72 tool machines and yearly investments for their maintenance, improvement or substitusion make it possible to produce 45.000.000 hgh quality pieces every year. ITAP is nowadays using 80% of its total manufacturing capacity: it is possible to increase the yearly manufactured quantity of 20%.

Tool machines are ITAP’s flagship. It is thanks to their customized technology, high levels of productivity and precision that we can achieve such a high production standard.
AUTOMATIC ASSEMBLY LINES
The avarage production capacity of each assembly line is 6.000 pcs/day.
This means a manufacturing capacity of 150.000 pieces every day, 100% of which is tested during this process.

More than 10.000 pallets of goods ready to be delivered.
